About Us
WHO ARE WE?
MEET THE FAMILY BEHIND IT ALL
Weber’s Willow Tree is more than just a monthly publication — it’s a trusted local resource, a community connector, and a celebration of small businesses throughout Butler, Allegheny, Armstrong, and Westmoreland counties.
Every month, we publish a thoughtfully curated directory packed with the best our region has to offer. Whether you're looking for a reliable plumber, a skilled landscaper, a new favorite restaurant, or a charming shop to explore, The Willow Tree makes it easy to find what (and who) you need — right in your own backyard.
Continuing a Cherished Tradition
Back in 1999, Carol Weber set out to create a simple, heartfelt guide that would bring people and businesses together. Her dedication turned that vision into a beloved staple — one that neighbors trust and local businesses rely on. For over two decades, Carol poured her heart into every issue, helping our communities thrive.
Today, we’re honored to continue that legacy — with a fresh chapter ahead.
As Carol steps into a well-deserved retirement, Emily Hack is proud to take the lead. Emily has grown up with The Willow Tree, first helping behind the scenes as a child, and now bringing new energy and ideas to the publication she’s loved her whole life.
What's New (and What’s Not)
Now, alongside our beautifully printed editions — still available at local shops and community spots — you can also subscribe for free and receive each issue straight to your inbox. Same helpful directory. Same local love. Just more accessible than ever.
Whether you're a loyal reader, a new neighbor, or a small business looking to grow, you belong here. We’re grateful to share this journey with you — and we’re just getting started. Despite the changes, our mission remains the same:
